El concierto de ‘OT, el reencuentro’ arrasó este lunes en el prime-time de La 1. Más de 4,1 millones (4.149.000) y un espectacular 27,5% vieron la retransmisión en directo desde el Palau Sant Jordi de Barcelona.
Este homenaje a los 15 años del primer ‘Operación Triunfo’ se convierte en la emisión no deportiva más vista de la temporada. Logró también el minuto de oro del día -a las 00:10 horas- reuniendo a 4.792.000 espectadores y un 38,7% de cuota. ‘OT: El Reencuentro en concierto’ congregó en algún momento de su emisión a más de 9 millones de espectadores. Además, ‘Destinos de película’, el programa de viajes que presenta
Máxim Huerta, marcó máximo de temporada con un 12,8% tras ‘OT’.

Los tres especiales en clave documental de ‘OT: El Reencuentro’ logran una media de 3.851.000 espectadores y un 21,2%. El estreno superó los 4,7 millones de personas (24,8%).
Enfrente, poco pudo hacer la competencia del lunes, con una emisión que le valió a La 1 el liderazgo del día (13,4%) provocando mínimos en los demás canales: ‘El Caballero oscuro’ (9,2%) en Antena 3 fue segunda opción; mientras que las reposiciones de ‘La que se avecina’ interesaron al 8,1% y 10,3%; la miniserie de Cuatro ‘Los Desenterrados’ un 5,6%; y la película «Sexo en Nueva York 2» logró un 5,5% en laSexta.

My sense (which may be totally off) is that the White House gave up on climate change after Copenhagen — that Obama and Clinton were both shocked by the Chinese and Indian position and after dealing with that, had no appetite for dealing with equal Senate obstructionism. I read Obama’s speech as being more about peak oil than about climate change. If one sees the Gulf disaster as being a predictable consequence of peak oil, then Obama’s speech looks like a reasonable response to it.
